How to Access the Camera Wall from the Meraki Dashboard
Accessing the Meraki Dashboard Before you can access the camera wall, you need to log in to the Meraki dashboard. Here's how to do it: Open your web browser and go to The Gaudenzia SharePoint Homepage. Click the 9 Dots in the Upper Left Hand Corner. Choose the Icon for the Meraki Dashboard. If you do not see it, click Explore all your Apps on the bottom of the Panel. Accessing the Camera Wall Once you are logged in to the Meraki dashboard, follow these steps to access the camera wall: Confirm the Location you would like to access by choosing it from the drop down in the Upper Left-Hand corner. Click on "Cameras" at the top of the page, then "Video Wall". . You will now see a grid of all your cameras. You can click on any camera to view the live feed. Using the Camera Wall The camera wall is a powerful tool that allows you to monitor all your cameras at once. Here are some tips for using the camera wall effectively: You can drag and drop cameras to rearrange them on the grid. You can click on a camera to view the live feed. You can also click on the "Full Screen" button to view the camera in full screen mode. You can use the search bar to find a specific camera by name or tag. You can use the filters to narrow down the cameras displayed on the grid. For example, you can filter by camera model, network, or tag. Troubleshooting If you are having trouble accessing the camera wall, here are some things to check: Make sure you are logged in to the Meraki dashboard with your Gaudenzia credentials. Make sure your cameras are online and connected to the Meraki cloud. Make sure your browser is up to date and compatible with the Meraki dashboard. Exporting Footage from Meraki Dashboard
Purpose: This article will guide Employees with the correct Meraki Access through Exporting CCTV footage from the Meraki Console. *Please Note*: This access is not granted without Compliance and Human Resources approval and should not be requested through FreshService as it will be Denied. 1) Access the Meraki Dashboard via the App Launcher. Please review this guide for help. 2) Choose the Site you need to access Footage from the Drop Down 3) Choose the Cameras Menu, then choose Cameras 4) Select the Camera Name that you need to retrieve footage from (Screenshot obfuscated for privacy) 5) Once you select the Camera you need to retrieve footage from, choose Share-->Export 6) Set the Date and Time to the timeframe of the footage that needs to be retrieved, then choose EXPORT. Please note, this must be entered in 24 Hour Time Format (Military Time) - Example: If you need to pull footage from 2PM-10PM, the start time would be 14:00 and the end time would be 22:00) 7) You will then see this entry at the bottom of the page which will track the progress of the export (Figure A). Once it's completed, the status will change to "Complete" (Figure B) Figure A: Figure B: 8) Choose the Blue SAVE link, then Download Now on the Pop-Up Window. You will then be asked where to save the downloaded file. Done!
